Finally Seeing RSS On Non-Geek Web Sites
Now that Atom has been the modern syndication format for several years, I am noticing finally that a lot of web sites are finally syndicating news items, customer info, etc — with the outdated RSS format.
I can see why a corporate communications person might ask for an RSS feed, but you would really think any astute programmer would interpret an RSS requirement as a feed requirement and publish atom instead.
