Dion knows better
Dion is quoted:
“The less distance our food has to travel, the better for farmers and for the environment,” Dion declared to a small group of farmers and Liberal supporters gathered at a sun-drenched family grain farm in Headingley, Man., west of Winnipeg.
If he truly believes that, he can legislate a 100 mile diet. Or even a 10 mile diet. Lets see how that affects our standard of living.
In fact Dion is wrong - the cheaper food is and the more choices we have, the better is is for the environment and consumers. He would like us all to serve farmers rather than the other way around.
