FineReader, ScanSnap, Automator, and AppleScript
The ScanSnap Manager and Fine Reader for ScanSnap software programs bundled with the ScanSnap S510M do not seem to work with the Automator or AppleScript. That is too bad, there are some workflows that could be automated. Mainly, I like to scan, OCR, and usually file in Yojimbo, and delete the files left by the scan and OCR.

It’s a bit of a hassle. But what if you just send files scanned to a specific folder, on which you have a folder action for new items?
