Why do so many things have a label glued them that is impossible to remove?
I bought this 
measuring cup about a year ago, and it still has sticky glue residue from an attached label despite over a hundred times through the dishwasher. I am hesitant to use toxic chemicals like Goo-Gone on food utensils.I had a similar problem years ago with a CSA sticker on a ski helmet. I saw several people on the ski hill with the same model and an ugly white CSA sticker they could not peel off. I used something like nail polish remove to get the guck off but it damaged the finish of the helmet at the same time.
