Managing GTD With Lotus Notes
If you can’t buy and install a plug in for lotus notes designed for tasks management, like one of the GTD plugins available, I think a lotus based GTD system is doomed for failure, even if you buy the guide to using notes for GTD.Â
My stress level has decreased now that I use notes for as little as possible. I set a follow-up flag for emails I am waiting for a response from, and check that list of mails that are flagged now and then. I have an act on folder for emails I need to reply to.
I use the calendar to book meetings.
I use todos only for my “-errand” context because it syncs to my blackberry.
I use another program for everything else work related - I have a lot of “contexts”, bring forward tasks, waiting for, etc. I am way more organized.Â
