VCards and Images
If you download my VCard into the OS X address book the my photo show up in the VCard. If I copy my contact information from address book into a VCard, the image is stripped out. Very annoying.
It was quite a challenge to embed an image into my VCard in the first place: I created an HCard with an base 64 encoded image and ran an XSLT Script to convert the hHCard to a VCard. That is quite the hurdle, and impractical for most people I know.
It would be nice if I could simply drag a contact from Address Book into email or the file system and have a VCard with an embedded image.
I doubt Outlook works any better. Lotus Notes 6.5 doesn’t even display images for contacts.
