Switched from NetNewsWire to Google Reader
I tried Google Reader this weekend and was very impressed. I immediately dropped my NewsGator Online subscription and ceased running NetNewsWire.
NewsGator Online and NetNewsWire are excellent products, but I am able to process headlines much more quickly in Google Reader — Simply scrolling passed a headline marks it as read. I am thoroughly impressed with Google Reader. The only reason I took so long to try it out as that I am skeptical of all AJAX apps (I believe Google Reader is an AJAX app) as they usually seem clunky imposters of rich applications.

Geez, Doug, I could have directed you to the “true path” of GR some time ago [grin]. I’ve experimented with all sorts of software and web readers over the last few years, but switched to GR more than a year ago and haven’t looked back.

John,
I like to be behind what you do for a year - just in case you switch to something better.
