“Getting” Lotus Notes
I am beginning to suspect there is enormous power in Lotus Notes. Maybe it is the file system metaphor we would choose if we were not so used to the files and folders model of legacy operating systems. Maybe I should store all of my work documents in Notes? Maybe my employer should store all their information/publications in Notes? If its published on the intranet, that could be generated from notes? Or maybe we don’t need an intranet?
It is pretty hard to get notes, when I have difficulty doing one simple thing.
If Lotus Notes is powerful, do you need an army of programmers to safely unleash that power? Can you realistically customize notes to your own needs if you have a vanilla install on your workstation?
