Lotus Notes Inbox Woes
About 100 messages I had already read in notes mysteriously appeared unread today, so I have to reread them all. I have no idea what I did to cause this problem, nor how to select them and mark them all as read so I don’t have to click on 100 messages.Â
Either notes is dumb or I am.Â

Your last question is easy to answer: Notes is dumb. A free service like Gmail is *way* better. If not for the security/privacy risk, I’d suggest simply creating a Notes rule to forward *all* mail to Gmail and work with it there…

I’d have to say it’s a little bit of both. It’s very easy to select multiple messages (just click the left column and scroll up/down to select)… but the easiest way to do what you want would be to just choose Edit - Unread Marks - Mark All Read.
