Updating Fink went ok, involving a lengthy dowload of XCode, a lengthy download of packages (hours) for which I had to be present to hit enter dozens of times to choose alternate mirrors, a really long compile (seemed like hours), which resulted in an error. To update Fink, to update GNU Cash, I need to update XCode.
I couldn’t remembe what XCode was and was afraid it had something to do with XWindows — I would hate to try and get that going again.
