Bookmarking RealSimple
I wanted to bookmark RealSimple in del.icio.us, but as soon as I navigate to their web site, I am redirected to http://www.realsimple.com/realsimple/homepage/flash/0,23022,,00.shtml, which I suspect is no cool URI — I’d be surprised if the resource at http://www.realsimple.com/realsimple/homepage/flash/0,23022,,00.shtml is still around in 5 years even though the site will be.
At the time of writing, 74 other people had gone to the trouble of saving the actual http://www.realsimple.com URI in del.icio.us. And that is assuming that the link http://del.icio.us/url/2868e8b2b6dcb9c0a149ab268d83a819 is itself cool. The del.icio.us folks might consider supporting friendlier URIs like http://del.icio.us/url/http://www.realsimple.com or http://del.icio.us/url/77 instead of http://del.icio.us/url/guid.
