More on Bringing Clips From a Digital Camera Into IMovie
I wrote about a way to bring MPEG video clips from a digital camera into IMovie without losing the audio. The problem with this is when you bring the audio in separately, its not bound to the video clip, but overlayed. They can get out of sync if you say, shorten or split the video clip.
A simpler but time consuming approach is to use MPEG StreamClip to export to DV format, then bring the DV file into IMovie. Now when you split video clips or edit them, the audio track stays in sync.
