Sony’s DRM Attack On Apple
I recently purchased a largeish Sony TV. In six months I only had to reboot it once (by unplugging it) so I am reasonably happy with the reliability.
I was thinking of replacing my Marantz SR-66 receiver, which I have never been happy with, with Sony equipment, until I read this peice on Sony’s DRM on Audio CDs. When I get around to replacing the Marantz, I’ll find some other brand unless Sony has dropped their DRM nonsense.

[...] It turns out Sony’s DRM Attack involved installed a rootkit. Nice. [...]
